Do you have a not-quite-ready-for-prime-time novel manuscript? One that's stalled halfway through? A first chapter or a story premise that you can' t get off the ground, but can't get off your mind?

I can provide a professional critique of your manuscript and give you specific suggestions for revision -- or I can work with you as you revise, providing continuous guidance and feedback. If you have a partial manuscript, outline, or idea for a novel or novella, I can help you to develop the project according to your unique vision.

Areas of expertise: Genre fiction (romance, mystery/suspense/thriller, sci-fi), with a particular interest in fantasy literature (epic, sword & sorcery, mythic, retold fairy tales, YA, urban fantasy and magic realism). I also work with general commercial fiction, and have a special interest in young adult novels.

Other services:
Scholarly and professional papers or articles -- content editing for clarity, coherence and flow of ideas; line editing; proofreading.

Experience and credentials: 10 years of experience editing and critiquing novels, short stories, essays and book-length memoirs. MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska Anchorage, with a concentration in fiction.
