Any full- or part-time freelancer may join the EFA. Fees vary by membership category and are discounted for two-year memberships. New members must pay a membership processing fee. You may subscribe to the Job List service to receive e-mail notification of job opportunities posted by clients with your application.
Resident members live in the greater New York City metropolitan area. Area codes representing this area are 201, 203, 212, 347, 516, 609, 631, 646, 718, 732, 845, 856, 860, 908, 914, 917, and 973. The annual fee for NYC resident members is $125. If you pay for two years at a time, the fee is $225, for a $25 savings.
Nonresident members live outside the New York City area and pay slightly lower annual dues. The annual fee for nonresident members is $105. The two-year fee is $190, for a $20 savings.
The Job List subscription for one year is U.S. $40. The two-year subscription is $80.
A processing fee of $35 applies for both new members and former members who rejoin EFA after a lapse of more than thirty days.
