Barbie Halaby (she/her) launched Monocle Editing in 2008 after six years editing at a traditional publishing house. She offers various editing and proofreading services to indie authors, university presses, and corporations, and enjoys working with editors new to the industry. Barbie is an active member of two different editorial mastermind groups, the oldest now for eight years.
