Finding Work in the Family History Genre

July 19th @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm EDT Free
donnaz

The Family History genre offers unique opportunities for freelance editors and writers. Join the NYC Metro chapter for a presentation about how we can navigate this wide-open field and which skills and experiences will be most valuable. Our speaker will be Donna Zucker, memoir workshop instructor at the Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence and founder of a family history-based writing business. Donna will talk about how she found her niche in the industry and built it into a career, and she will also break down the family history genre to help freelancers identify areas of potential work.
This meeting is free and open to all EFA members, their guests, and anyone interested in joining the EFA. Please RSVP here. Bring a government-issued photo ID for entry to the building. Venue is accessible.
