North Texas Chapter Meeting: Accounting for Creative Entrepreneurs
The first chapter meeting of the year will feature a presentation on filing taxes and bookkeeping as a freelance editor. The meeting will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, February 17, at the central library in downtown Dallas (Stone Room on the 7th floor).
Chris Morris, a CPA for creative entrepreneurs, will be a guest speaker. Many of his clients are independent authors, designers, editors, and entertainers.
Parking note: The library is at the corner of Young and Ervay streets, across from city hall. It has an underground parking garage on the Wood Street side of the building. Wood Street runs one way going east. To enter the parking garage, use the first ramp; the second ramp is an exit, and the third ramp is the loading dock.
