SF Bay Area Chapter: Working with Indie Authors, with Tanya Gold (Virtual)
As the publishing industry continues to evolve, more writers are self-publishing. And there’s more of a demand for editors who will work directly with them. This Tuesday, we’ll talk about this side of industry. We’ll discuss how indie publishing suddenly grew exponentially, why authors choose this path, what that looks like for them, how editors fit into that process, and what that’s like. (There will be dinosaurs, of course 🦖🦕)
Tanya Gold is a book editor, educator, writing coach, and literary omnivore. She has been in publishing for about 20 years, and has worked on all sorts of cool books. These days, she edits mostly fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. It has been suggested that she reads too much for her own good. This might be true. www.TanyaGold.com
This session is restricted to local Bay Area EFA members and will not be recorded. Email Kristen Tate to be added to the chapter email list and receive the Zoom link for the event.
