Luna Imprints Author Services
I’m a writer, editor, and freelance columnist. Writing the best stories that take a life of their own, with living, breathing, relatable characters is what my life’s focus has become. I founded Luna Imprints Author Services (LIAS) to provide affordable author services to indie authors like me. Reading and hearing horror stories about editors made me want to jump in and provide a reliable service that’s focused on helping out new and existing authors, and growing their confidence in writing while also working out the kinks in their stories. I started off with an editing mentor, moved on to love it, then learned the true ins and outs of the craft of editing, until I was finally ready to spread my wings.
Suffice it to say, the business took off before I was ready, and before long, I was drowning in the best kind of work: reading beautiful stories, and helping make them even more beautiful. Clients like bestselling author Kristina Adams, author of the chick lit series What Happens In… and Hollywood Gossip, say,
“What Alexa suggests never feels dictatorial either; it’s a two-way conversation where we bounce off each other to solve the problem. “
Newbie writers like Jared Griffin say,
“Alexa goes by the title of editor, but I refer to her by something more apt: Magician. I send her a beta read draft with demographic info and a blurb, and she polishes it to a shiny gem.”
I don’t do this work for the accolades (though they’re a nice reinforcement that I’m doing something right!). I do it because I want to help you write the best story you can. I’ll never force feedback on you, or try to make your story fit into a mould. I will, however, take genre into account, and help you make it shine. Reach out, I don’t bite, and I’d love to chat and work together.
