My goal as an editor is to provide clients with high-quality, professionally edited manuscripts that flow seamlessly and present accurate and digestible content to targeted audiences.
I’ve worked as a freelance editor for over five years and have experience with independent authors, publishers, institutions, and students. I specialize in academic, technical, nonfiction, science fiction, and literary works. I am most comfortable with CMOS and APA style guides but can quickly learn any new in-house style guides.
I hold a STEM bachelor’s degree (integrative physiology) from the University of Colorado, Boulder, work as a marine engineer, hold an editing certificate from Poynter Institute, and am currently obtaining a second editing certificate from the University of Chicago, Graham School.
I will happily provide prospective clients with free sample edits to ensure we are a good mutual fit.
