Angelic (Angel) Rodgers
As the associate editor of Physician Family magazine, I help with assigning articles, as well as with editing and final proofreading before publication. I am also a regular contributor to the magazine, and I am in the process of revitalizing our blog. My work can also be seen in the oncology-focused monthly digital magazine Strategies. In addition to writing a monthly feature, I am the contributing editor for inserts created for The Mississippi Oncology Society and The Society of Gynecologic Nurse Oncologists.
In addition to my nonfiction work, I am the author of five novels. My creative nonfiction has also appeared in Cactus Heart and in the Journal of South Texas English Studies.
I have over 20 years of higher education experience as an instructor and curriculum developer in literature and composition. In addition to teaching and developing courses and educational materials, my work has been published in academic publications. I’ve served as a peer reviewer for journals, as well, including Teaching American Literature and Mosaic. My current research project can be seen at The Octave Thanet Project.
