I am a nonfiction developmental editor and copy editor with a master’s degree in history. For many years I worked in-house for two major educational publishers, focusing on middle school and high school learning resources in such subjects as American history, world history, world geography, American government, and civics. I currently am an independent contractor with my own LLC, Edit Write. As a freelancer, I work primarily in the K–12 educational market, but I also have experience copyediting higher education materials and academic works as well as magazine and website articles on topical issues of current interest.
