Daniel Kamin
With just over 10 years of experience in the freelance market, I have taken on editing and writing projects that have ranged from novels to articles to short stories.
I have a bachelors in English from DePaul University, a creative writing certificate from Northwestern, and am currently in my second year in DePaul’s Writing and Publishing masters program. During this time, I have had a book, short stories, and a novella published. Ruby of the Realms, a middle-grade fantasy adventure, came out in 2010. “Showdown,” came out in eFantasy’s February 2013 edition, “Dead Men Tell Too Many Tales” was released in Aphelion Press’s December 2019 issue, “Something Far Away,” was released by Ward Literary Magazine in October 2020, and the novella Gingerbread Men and Toad’s Wart was released by the Wild Rose Press in October 2021.

Manuscript Editing – I do everything in this field, including line editing, developmental editing, beta reading, and copy editing. I can do any kind of fiction or non-fiction project, but my specialty lies in genre fiction and YA.
Ghostwriting – I can write any kind of novel or short story, and once again, specialize in genre fiction.
Writing – I do article writing, blog content, descriptions, letters, and various other types of writing projects.
Editing – For general editing, I can do text books, newsletters, guides, pamphlets, and manuals just to name a few.
