Polymerase Editing
I have graduate- and undergraduate-level biomedical research experience working with cell lines and mice (I prefer the cells!). After a few years of lab experience, I found that I prefer science writing. I then switched gears and began working as a freelance editor providing English-language editing services to help scientists polish their manuscripts for submission to academic journals. In addition to editing documents for grammar, spelling, wording, and punctuation, I can also address the overall logical flow of the manuscript and provide a thorough report assessing each section for submission-readiness. I will check for accuracy of each figure, table, reference, and in-text citation and will format to the target journal’s particular style. Since 2022, more than 25 manuscripts that I have edited have been published in more than 20 academic journals, including Cell Discovery and Immunity.
I am married with two daughters and a dog. I enjoy reading, cross-stitching, RV travel, the mountains, coffee, and margaritas! I love having the opportunity to work remotely from any location.
