Hi, my name is Erika. I’m a copyeditor, developmental editor, and proofreader and I’m passionate about helping writers get the best version of their stories to their audience.
As a voracious reader and lover of all things bookish, I’ve always known that I wanted to work with the written word. Over the years, I’ve helped edit and proofread countless academic papers, stories, and other various documents for family, friends, and colleagues. I enjoy getting into the paragraphs, sentences, and words to tease out the author’s intended meaning, to polish their prose, and to help their voice shine throughout their work.
I work with writers on a variety of documents, including academic papers and novels—I specialize in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres.
I help academic and student writers polish their work so they can turn in a paper that they’re confident in, and I help authors get the best version of their manuscripts on the page and ready for publication. My goal as an editor is to get each client’s message to their audience with clarity while maintaining their individual voice.
