Jason Rosenberg
I have three years of editing experience, three master’s degrees (philosophy, education, and sociology), and a love of ideas.
I’ve traditionally specialized in academic editing, particularly in the humanities and social sciences, but I have a burgeoning interest in creative nonfiction. I’m also a nut about speculative fiction (e.g., Philip K. Dick, Richard Matheson, Ray Bradbury), and I’m always thrilled to work on that material.
I am comfortable working with several style guides, including MLA, APA, AP, and Chicago. In addition to being a proud member of the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA), I am also a member of the American Copyeditors Society (ACES). I am familiar with both American and British English, and I have extensive experience helping ESL clients.
Outside of editing, my hobbies and interests include creative writing, film/video production, and foreign languages (Spanish). I read widely in many areas and am always up for a good discussion.
I live in Bogotá, Colombia, but my hometown is Durham, Connecticut (USA).
