I am an editor and indexer specializing in academic texts. With a PhD in history (University of Michigan, 2016), I am intimately familiar with the conventions of academic writing, particularly in humanities fields, as well as the common frustrations of scholars adapting their work for various publication venues. Past projects include books published by New York University Press, University of Michigan Press, and Cambridge University Press, as well as articles for scholarly journals like Viator: Medieval and Renaissance Studies and Classical Philology.
I offer multiple levels and types of editing services–proofreading, copyediting, formatting, and substantive editing–and am familiar with major style guides.
