Her expertise includes the editing of scholarly books, journal articles, and papers in literary and cultural studies and general humanities; scholarly texts written by authors whose first language is other than English; non-fiction translated to English; and scholarly and other non-fiction texts of self-publishing authors. She also works as a translator (Spanish to English) of scholarly texts in the humanities.
Dr. Fueger earned her PhD in Romance Languages and Literatures (Spanish Language and Literature) from the University of Missouri – Columbia following completion of an MA in Spanish Language and Literature from Saint Louis University and a BS in Secondary Education/English from Bowling Green State University. She has authored or co-authored scholarly articles and has presented academic papers at regional, national and international conferences. In addition to her formal academic preparation and experience, she participates in ongoing continuing education in editing and translation.  After teaching college-level English and Spanish grammar, composition, and literature for over twenty years, Dr. Fueger established Chapter 3 Copyediting LLC to work exclusively with fellow academics and authors to ensure that their written projects are as vibrant and polished as possible.
