Editing is my passion. There is nothing I love more than the feeling of looking at a fresh, untouched project ready to be edited. Well, perhaps I love more the moment when I finally get a string of sentences to convey exactly what the writer means. But maybe the feeling I love most is a talented author trusting me to prepare their vulnerable words for publication.
I am a thoughtful and socially aware editor who understands the nuances of being different. My work affirms and embraces things like chronic illness, complex trauma, queerness, intersectionality, and more. I understand the kinds of barriers created by systems of power and oppression. I use this perspective to inform all aspects of my editing.
I offer precision proofreading and copy editing that turns any manuscript into its best self. I am also available for help with developmental editing on things like overall structure, character development, draft revisions, and other feedback needs.
