Experience excellence in editing with Kimberly Smith Ashley and The Editor Garden
Kimberly Smith Ashley founded her first writing and editing agency, KM Smith Writes, in 2009 to provide editing and writing services on par with traditional publishing houses but with the personal care and attention only found in a boutique editorial agency. In April 2018, she partnered with Laurie Dennison and Nancy Stone, both accomplished writers and editors, to bring a new vision in editing to the marketplace. Together, they launched The Editor Garden. With the editing leadership at The Editor Garden, authors can expect the greatest commitment to their books and projects.
Kimberly is an active member of the EFA and SCBWI. She holds an MA in English, an MEd in educational leadership, and an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. A twice-awarded Royal Palm Literary Awards winner, Kimberly is published in memoir, poetry and short story form.
