Leah Boyer

I am a professionally trained copyeditor with a certificate in copyediting from the University of California, San Diego’s Division of Extended Studies. While I am a certified editor for Scribbr, a company that provides academic editing services to students and other individuals worldwide, my main focus is on the fantasy and speculative fiction genre. I just can’t resist the lure of story.

I love being an editor because I get to work with creative people, whether they are writing their first  novel or their fifth. Whatever you write, I want to hear about why your writing is important to you. Once you have a well-defined story arc, we can focus on everything that supports that; we can fine-tune your characters, ramp up your stakes, and make sure that cottage in chapter one is still the same color in chapter twenty-two.
