Mark R. Stoneman

I edit texts in history and related fields that are intended for readers in and beyond their own fields. This work includes everything from monographs, edited collections, and journal articles to conference presentations, blogs, and individual blog posts. I also work with English-language texts authored by speakers of other languages, especially German speakers.

My background includes a PhD in history from Georgetown University, over a decade as an in-house editor at the German Historical Institute in Washington, DC, and many years as an adjunct professor of history and an English teacher for speakers of other languages.
