Feol’s “A Journey To Mouseling Hollow” young adult fantasy series, as well as an in-house copy editor and proofreader for Velomino clothing, IMS legal consulting, and Gilleard marketing. Former Features Editor with CBR.com leading the Wrestling Features division. Highly proficient copy editor, proofreader, developmental editor, sensitivity reader, and manuscript reviewer. Experienced with MLA, AP, and Chicago Style Guides, and proficient switching between those and various house styles on multiple projects.

As a college professor, I specialize in teaching composition, research writing, and American film and literature.

As an author, I’ve published half a dozen peer reviewed and non-peer reviewed articles in scholarly journals, including the Journal of American Culture, Southern Cultures, Stephen Crane Studies, Warscapes, and Eclectica, as well as five books in the Historical Audiobooks ‘Presidential Speeches’ collection (Top 10 Presidential Post War Speeches, The Space Race, The Civil Rights Agenda, National Crises, and Presidential Scandals), The Book On Velour Tracksuits for Velomino clothing, and dozens of articles for CBR.com. I also work as a sensitivity reader, and have screened both college-level textbooks for McGraw-Hill and dozens of K-5 ‘decodable’ books for Learning A-Z.

As an editor, I’ve spent more than a decade working with writers of every skill level to edit content for clarity and ease of reading, and specialize particularly in genre fiction: science fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction. A few published books I’ve edited include:

  • Robert Feol’s “A Journey To Mouseling Hollow” YA fantasy adventure series. The first book in the series, The Fabled Two (155,000 words, ASIN‎ B08V42GCZ6) was published by Best Seller Publishing on January 25, 2021, with a follow-up novella, The Casebook of Sir Pendleton Stormsnout: Book I, The Gypsy’s Gleaming Eye (34,000 words, ASIN B09GL2BN14) published on September 16, 2021. A graphic novel adaptation and second novel are currently in progress.
  • A Bee In A Big Universe (ASIN B09LH3475W), a children’s book by Kristen M. Niedzielski published November 9, 2021.
  • With Peter Bartle, co-wrote The Book On Velour Tracksuits (ASIN B09J57MPHQ, Published 10/21/21), a 14,000 word comedic promotional booklet commissioned by Velomino.
  • Transform Your Destiny by Dale Halaway, a nonfiction manuscript currently scheduled for publication in April 2022.
  • Served as an expert historical consultant/sensitivity reader on Solomon Ramsdell, a historical novel by Cindy Rinaman Marsch set during the Civil War and published by Moraine’s Edge Books (ASIN B08XMXW9CY) on March 16, 2021.

I’ve also done significant work on longform nonfiction manuscripts. I worked as a developmental editor on a book proposal for filmmaker Miles Lagoze, which resulted in a publication contract with a Simon & Schuster imprint, and am currently working as an ongoing editor on The Radical Futurist, a biography of Lee Harvey Oswald. I’m also currently writing on The Land Forgotten, a fantasy video game.
