With over 15 years of experience in an academic environment, as a teacher, journal editor, journal founder/co-editor, university press copy editor, and dissertation formatter, I have the experience and skills to take your work to its best level. Whether you’re in the developmental stages or need basic to light editing or proofreading, I’ll bring my experience in getting writing ready for publication and my doctoral education in literature and creative writing to your project(s). I specialize in scholarly (annotated) writing, poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. I’m also interested in memoir, epic fantasy, and science fiction, among other genres. I know my way around Chicago, MLA, and APA styles and also have experience editing/formatting theses and dissertations to meet particular university specifications. I’ve been on the writer’s side of the table, too, having published two collections of poetry.
