Peter Adrian Behravesh

Lit & Lore Editorial

“Peter hits the sweet spot as an editor in that he’s great at taking an overview of a project but also rolls his sleeves up and interrogates the details.”

–M.R. Carey, bestselling author of The Girl with All the Gifts

I’m an experienced editor catering to all genres of creative writing, though I specialize in speculative fiction. I’ve edited novels, short stories, essays, poems, comics (including manga), and board games, most notably for IDW Publishing, Seven Seas Entertainment, and the Stonecoast Review.

My company, Lit & Lore, provides freelance editorial services to writers of all genres and skill levels. Whether you’re a novice storyteller or a veteran author, I can help you develop, polish, and perfect your manuscript. I also cater to small presses.

I am a graduate of the Stonecoast MFA in creative writing at the University of Southern Maine. I have served as the editor-in-chief of the Stonecoast Review literary arts journal, as an assistant editor at IDW Publishing (where I worked on such titles as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Diamond Gem Award-nominated Star Wars Adventures, and the Bram Stoker Award-nominated Darkness Visible), and as an associate editor for the Hugo Award-nominated science fiction podcast Escape Pod.

I currently serve as the audio producer for the World Fantasy and British Fantasy Award-nominated fantasy fiction podcast PodCastle and as an editor at Seven Seas Entertainment.

For more information on the services I offer, as well as a list of my editing credits, please visit the Lit & Lore website.
