I am a careful and encouraging editor. I love to get authors fired up about their writing and about getting in contact with publishers. I will not overwhelm you with nitpicking, but will let you know, as a reader, what specifically needs to be tweaked, reshaped or cut.
My website, with my portfolio and breakdown of services: roberteversmann.com
For three years, I have been the Editor-in-Chief of the Independent Publishing Resource Center’s literary magazine, 1001. I am also a co-teacher of the IPRC’s writing certificate program. I have edited, designed and produced many self-published books, from manuscript to purchasable hardcopies (available at Powell’s Books and sellin like hotcakes!).
I am a bookseller at Powell’s Books and I am the Editor-in-Chief of Deep Overstock, the national booksellers’ journal. My specialties include young adult and middle grade fiction, literary fiction, picture books, short stories and flash fiction, poetry, hip hop, pop culture, superheroes, sociology, psychology, philosophy, and classics.
