Hello! I am a detailed-oriented copy editor, line editor, and proofreader. I have edited manuscripts in a variety of genres: business, children, drama, fiction, narrative, nonfiction, poetry, science fiction, and YA. I have edited both short-form and long-form content (2,000–100,000 words) and am experienced with all style guides (Chicago, APA, AP, and in-house). I have a professional, graduate-level certificate in editing from the University of California at Berkeley (2021).
Additionally, I have sixteen years of project management experience with a focus on technology, eCommerce development and content management, process, training, and communications, so I am comfortable working under tight deadlines with little supervision.
I’m technology savvy, can edit and proofread in many word processing programs, and can quickly learn new software programs if required. In my project management career, I routinely wrote and edited reports, communications, and presentations for supply chain, retail, and eCommerce projects.
