THREE FATES EDITING
At Three Fates Editing, I base my business on the belief that the best editor is first and foremost a fan. Each project begins with a conversation. We must gauge each other to see if our styles truly fit together. For this reason, I not only provide free sample edits but consider them a prerequisite for a specific project quote.
My favorite genres to work with are science fiction, fantasy, YA, dystopian, and post-apocalyptic. Sometimes the lines between those genres are blurred. I like to say I specialize in speculative fiction of any sort.
While I specialize in speculative fiction, I am open to many genres (excluding erotica). Prior to becoming an editor, I worked for 20 years in the pharmaceutical field. I have extensive experience with medical texts as well as academic writing.
SERVICES
I offer manuscript critiques, developmental editing, line editing, and copy editing. I will often combine one or more of these levels into a single package price. If what you are looking for is not listed, please email me. I am more than willing to tailor editing services to your particular needs.

ABOUT ME
In 2012 when an indie sci-fi author (who happened to be my favorite author and still is) posted on Facebook that she was losing her editor, I threw my hat in the ring with no prior experience. She gave me a sample to work with … and also gave it to 50 established editors. When she hired me, she said my sample blew them all out of the water. I became her editor, and my editing career was born.
