S. Kay Nash
The Typo Fairy
I’ve been a full-time fiction editor since 2014, but I was a career wordsmith for over 20 years. I’ve worked for companies like American Airlines, Ernst & Young, and the YMCA. However, the SF, Fantasy and Horror genres have always been my passion. In the mid-1990’s, I launched one of the first webzines that paid authors, wrote for SF Site, and attended conventions all over the USA. I know and love this genre, and want to help you share your vision of other worlds and possible futures with eager fans.
I’m an associate editor for the Hugo-nominated audio magazine, Escape Pod, and I work with a small press publisher, Digital Fiction Publishing, Inc., as well as independent clients. I’m also happy to work on mystery/thriller and paranormal romance manuscripts.
If you’re an author of speculative fiction, you need an editor who knows current trends in SF/F/H as well as the seminal classic works that define the genre. You can find me at Worldcon and StokerCon nearly every year, (I’m an affiliate member of the Horror Writers Association) keeping a finger on the pulse of fandom and publishing.
I offer line editing, copy editing, and proofreading services.
