S. Kay Nash
The Typo Fairy
I’ve been a full-time fiction editor since 2014, but I was a career wordsmith for over 20 years. I’ve worked for companies like American Airlines, Ernst & Young, and the YMCA. However, the SF, Fantasy and Horror genres have always been my passion. In the mid-1990’s, I launched one of the first webzines that paid authors, wrote for SF Site, and attended conventions all over the USA. I know and love this genre, and want to help you share your vision of other worlds and possible futures with eager fans.
I’m an associate editor for the Hugo-nominated audio magazine, Escape Pod, and I work with small press publishers like Digital Fiction Publishing, Inc., as well as independent clients. I’m also happy to work with mystery/thriller and paranormal romance authors.
If you’re an author of speculative fiction, you need an editor who knows current trends in SF/F/H as well as the seminal classic works that define the genre. You can find me at Worldcon and StokerCon nearly every year, keeping a finger on the pulse of fandom and publishing.
I offer line editing, copy editing, and proofreading services.
