The Typo Fairy

If you’re an author of speculative fiction, you need an editor who knows current trends in SF/F/H as well as the classic works that define the genre. I was an associate editor for Escape Pod, which has been nominated twice for the Hugo Award. I work with small press publishers and independent authors.

I am a full-time fiction editor with a background in marketing communications, business and technical writing, and grant writing. I’ve worked for companies like American Airlines, Ernst & Young, and the YMCA. I left the corporate world to focus on my passion: editing and publishing speculative fiction and horror.

In the mid-1990s, I launched one of the first webzines that paid authors, and I have reviewed books for SF and Horror-focused websites. I’ve attended SF conventions as a panelist, speaker, and fan. I know and love this genre, and want to help you share your vision of other worlds and possible futures with eager fans. I’m also happy to work on mystery/thriller and paranormal romance manuscripts.

I offer line editing, copy editing, and proofreading services.
