I have worked as a line editor and developmental editor primarily of college-level scientific educational materials for more than 30 years. My experience is mostly in the biological and medical sciences, but I have also worked in the hard sciences and the social sciences. I’ve spent my life being fascinated with how to translate material from experts into a form that can be understood by anyone.
I have extensive experience in the development of text, art programs, and features, both online and print. My editing focuses on effectively organizing and clarifying complex written and visual material as well as art-text integration.
I am building a subspecialty in diversity, equity, and inclusion review. In addition, I can provide competitive analysis of materials in a particular market, analysis of reviews of a potential product, and assessment of educational materials in original form. I also provide copyediting, proofreading, and project management services.
