Dr. Virginia M. (Ginger) Peschke has more than fifteen years of postdoctoral and professional experience in molecular biology, plant genetics, plant breeding, and biotechnology. She has published original research in several peer-reviewed journals, including Science, Molecular and General Genetics, and Plant Physiology, and an invited review for Advances in Genetics.

Since 2005, Dr. Peschke has written and edited manuscripts, regulatory study reports, and teaching materials for plant science laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, and health science publishers. She has edited laboratory protocols in molecular and cellular biology for Cold Spring Harbor Protocols (CSHL Press) and the Current Protocols series (Wiley). In addition, Dr. Peschke has edited hundreds of plant science manuscripts for authors whose native language is not English. In 2011, Dr. Peschke received board certification as an Editor in the Life Sciences from BELS (Board of Editors in the Life Sciences; www.BELS.org).
