I am a seasoned professional with over twenty years of experience in IT consulting. I recently returned to my first loves: writing and languages. I translate all manner of text from Spanish to English, copy edit technical and marketing documents, and am ensconced in editing an ongoing science fiction chronicle to be published on WordPress.
- I works with academics to ensure articles are written to publication specification (APA style, Chicago-Style, European Commission’s English Style Guide, etc.).
- Clients include technology companies with requirements to edit directly in technical platforms like GitHub, WordPress.
- I have recently completed a translation of the history of Industrias Fase, the manufacturer of the avant-garde lighting fixture that adorns Don Draper’s desk in Mad Men.
I completed my undergraduate studies earning a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and have also received certificates in Information Programming (Denver Technical Institute), Hispanic Studies (Complutense University of Madrid), Creative Writing (Wesleyan University through Coursera), Linguistics (University of Leiden & Meetens Instituut-KNAW in Coursera), and most recently a Masters in translation from the Complutense University of Madrid.
