Product Description


Introduction to Medical Editing is a sixty-minute overview of medical editing. It will cover the different types of work available for medical editors, the places who hire, and the skills needed to do the work. It will provide information on how to get your foot in the door for medical editing assignments, and will discuss the value of certifications and the various types available.

The webinar is free to all EFA members but attendance at the live session is limited to the first 200 registrants. All members will be able to download the recorded version of the webinar for free a few days after it airs.

Instructor Jennifer Maybin is a Certified Editor in the Life Sciences (ELS) and has run her own medical editing and writing company for more than15 years. She teaches copyediting for the University of California–San Diego Extension and has created medical editing courses for University of the Sciences and Arcadia University. She edits and writes for medical education companies, medical publishers, and pharmaceutical companies.
