This 60-minute workshop illustrates how to think about your finances as a freelancer, from the different types of business incorporation (sole proprietor, S Corp, LLC) to taxes and retirement savings. This can all seem overwhelming without a system in place that aligns with what you want out of your business. In this webinar, we review the new Form 1099 NEC you might be receiving for your work, as well as how best to be ready for taxes at filing time and throughout the year. We also review the avenues you have as a freelancer to save money for retirement, such as the SEP-IRA vs. the solo 401k, and the pros and cons of each.
