Margin notes are invaluable, but they can also become overwhelming, scattered, and hard to translate into a clear editorial letter. If you find yourself staring at a marked-up manuscript unsure where to start — or reinventing your editorial analysis with every project — this one-hour webinar is for you.

Designed for intermediate to advanced editors who already leave detailed margin notes but struggle to synthesize them into cohesive recommendations, this presentation introduces a streamlined commenting system that transforms manuscript feedback into a simple, sortable data table. This system is especially useful for developmental edits, writing coaching, and manuscript evaluations. With this approach, you’ll stop chasing individual notes and start seeing the bigger picture: recurring issues, hidden patterns, and cross-connections between craft elements.

You’ll walk away with a spreadsheet template and a marginalia system that takes less than twenty minutes to implement, yet saves hours of analysis and second-guessing — so you can move straight into the editing stage with clarity and confidence.
