EFA offers a variety of convenient general resources to its members and the public.
- First are the EFA booklets, written by experts in the field and for publishing professionals, and a virtual shelf of archived articles on freelancing.
- Second is an extensive list of online references, to which more will be added over time. Last is a collection of administrative resources.
- Third is an editorial rate chart, which is the product of a survey of EFA members and industry references.
- The Code of Fair Practice defines ethical standards and contract guidelines. It was developed by the Freelance Editorial Association, which merged with EFA in 2000.
- The sample contracts and invoices are especially valuable to beginning freelancers.
If you have any suggestions for additional materials, please write the EFA web chair at web.site AT the-efa DOT org. Be advised that additions to the resources library are decided by the EFA board of governors as a whole. Thank you in advance for any contributions you may have. If you are interested in helping maintain the list of online references from time to time, your assistance will be most welcome.
