With a doctorate in Literature from Duke University, Sara’s areas of scholarly expertise include gender and sexuality studies, working-class studies, critical race studies, and visual culture. She’s currently Associate Editor for the Journal of Working-Class Studies, and has served as Production Copy Editor for Cultural Anthropology, one of the top journals in the field of cultural anthropology. She received training in Developmental Editing from the Book Publishing program at Portland State University. Sara lives in Portland, Oregon, and loves comics, dogs, true crime podcasts, and writing poetry.
