Michael C Cluff
Michael C Cluff devoured books in his youth. Poorly written books gave him indigestion. For the sake of his stomach, he set out to understand what makes great writing.
Since then, Michael took up writing, editing, and publishing. Michael has a B.A. in Creative Writing from Boise State University, where he interned with author Alan Heathcock. Michael co-founded Fiction Vortex Magazine, which is now the hybrid publisher and storytelling/writing platform developer, StoryShop, where he is now the Content Chief.
As a freelance editor, Michael specializes in narrative fiction, instructional non-fiction, and marketing copy. He provides services in writing and editing. From writing a small biographical paragraph for your own “About” page, to refining a rough draft into a polished manuscript, Michael C Cluff – Word Wizard will do that and more.
“Ok, but ‘Wizard’… Really?”
Yep. When I chose to call myself a wizard I had three reasons. First: Wizards are cool. Seriously, who doesn’t want to be a wizard? Second: A wizard seeks wisdom and mastery of certain disciplines. The third reason uses a more modern usage: In the terms of a program, a wizard is a tutorial, a guide, through a program or process.
Simply put, I aspire to be a cool, wise, and helpful person in the world of the written word.
