Event volunteer Daschell Phillips shows off an EFA tote bag, given to booth visitors for free.

Once again, the EFA exhibited at the Printers Row Lit Fest, Sep. 9–10, 2023, at historical Printers Row in Chicago. Chicagoland chapter members volunteered to represent the EFA at our booth, promoting our services for writers and discussing the benefits of membership for those interested. It also was a great opportunity to network with fellow EFA members and to meet potential clients.

Chicagoland chapter co-coordinator and event volunteer Amy Spungen reports, “We had glorious weather for the Printers Row Lit Fest this year. Our EFA booth was busy throughout the weekend—over 200 visitors stopped by!”

Event volunteer Daschell Phillips adds, “It was a beautiful day and there were lots of events going on in Downtown Chicago so we were able to meet a lot of great writers and editors.”
