Kim Graber, Jess Stampe, and Marcy Ongert will help Ginny Ruths run the Colorado chapter. Look  for more events and programs as these four editors combine their interests and skills to lead the chapter.

Kim Graber is a freelance writer and editor who specializes in creating B2B marketing content that builds authority, primarily within the fintech and payments industries.

She has decades of experience writing and editing, including as a magazine editor, technical writer, marketing copywriter, and PR professional. Now, she spends her time doing what she loves best: talking with interesting people to learn how things work and helping them tell their stories.

Jess Stampe is a nonfiction editor with over a decade of experience working on books, dissertations, theses, and marketing materials at Just Ask Jess. She specializes in developmental/structural editing, proofreading, formatting, fact-checking, and citations in APA and Chicago style. She graduated with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Creative Writing from the University of Wyoming. Jess grew up in southern Louisiana, went to college in Wyoming, has a partner from South Dakota, lived in Michigan for a decade, and now calls Colorado her home. She is a voracious reader of fiction—especially historical romance, fantasy, urban fantasy, and young adult fantasy. She also loves to experiment in the kitchen, explore the outdoors, and hoard plants. Jess is the Treasurer of PEN and Editor’s Tea Club, as well as a member of ACES and the EFA.

Marcy Ongert has lived most of her life in Colorado. She recently made a career switch from attorney to freelance copyeditor and is just getting started in the wild world of copyediting. She is looking forward to meeting more Colorado-based copyeditors. Marcy can be reached at marcy@moediting.com.
