"Picture books make a magical impression that lasts a lifetime. Help authors create that magic!" —Lou Piccolo, instructor

After a relaxing winter break, we’re ready to leap into 2024 with our first traditional courses of the year. We launch the season on January 31 with Jennifer Yankopolus’s renowned Word Macros A to Z course, which will benefit any editor who uses Microsoft Word—that is to say, just about any editor. Beginning February 7, Lou Piccolo’s excellent Editing Children’s Picture Books will give you everything you need to support authors in creating works for the youngest readers.

The EFA’s traditional courses run for four to six weeks and are led by longtime editors who are experts in their fields. Class sizes are limited to allow for plenty of direct personal instruction, and registration closes two days before the class starts. Sign up today to reserve your place!

Whether you want to study at your own pace or learn with an instructor’s direct feedback, the EFA has everything you need to broaden your skill set and client base. As always, our library of recorded webinars is available for immediate viewing, so be sure to check it out for dozens of helpful sessions, including many free recordings for members.  Not a member? Join today.

Office Closed Monday April 8.

The EFA Offices will be closed Monday, April 8, 2024. We will reopen on Tuesday, April 9. Job postings, discussion list subscriptions, and other customer service requests may not be responded to until then.
