January 24 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm EST

Audiobooks are the fastest growing segment in publishing today–do you know everything you’d like to know about how they’re made? On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 12 p.m. Eastern/9 a.m. Pacific, Stephanie Argy and Dayna Reidenouer (Members at Large on the EFA Board of Governors) will host audiobook director Christina Rooney for a free 50-minute STET Talk on what editors should understand about audiobook production. Christina has directed more than 800 audiobooks for titles by Margaret Atwood, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Lee Child, Haruki Murakami, Richard Russo, and Kate DiCamillo, from publishers such as Penguin Random House, Disney/Hyperion, Christian Audio, and Crossway Books And Bibles. A 15-minute moderated conversation will be followed by an informal Q&A, so bring all your questions!

Office Closed Monday April 8.

The EFA Offices will be closed Monday, April 8, 2024. We will reopen on Tuesday, April 9. Job postings, discussion list subscriptions, and other customer service requests may not be responded to until then.
