Allison McCann
I offer a wide range of editorial services, including proofreading, copyediting, developmental editing, German-to-English translation, image permissions, and research assistance. Currently writing a doctoral dissertation on medieval women book owners, I know well the hard work that goes into getting a piece of writing (academic or otherwise) off the ground and out the door. I’ve edited dissertations, monographs, multi-author volumes, journal articles, newsletters, job market dossiers, and marketing copy. My subject areas include the history of art and architecture (especially Europe ca. 500–1500), literature, philosophy, visual studies, and women’s studies. As a reader and collector of comics and graphic novels, I’m also very interested in editing those genres.
