Beka is a freelance writer specializing in fiction and content writing, and an editor specializing in creative nonfiction as well as fantasy and science fiction stories with a strong dose of romance. They love stories that are weird, unsettling, unflinchingly sappy, and which showcase the author’s unique voice. Visit their website or read about their services below.
Beka has been an editor at The Hopper environmental literary magazine since 2018 where they offer editorial feedback, developmental edits, and copy editing. They write an occasional blog about writing, edit longer works for both traditional writers and fanfiction authors, and would love to work with you to make your story shine! Their services include:
- One-time writing consultations/editorial feedback
- Developmental Editing
- Line editing
- Ongoing writer coaching (perfect if you need an accountability buddy who can also give you constructive feedback!)
Beka is a content writer with experience in the areas of creative writing, statistics, and experimental design, but loves to learn about new topics. They specialize in breaking down complex topics and making them accessible to a wider audience, and would love the opportunity to write for you, too!
In addition to nonfiction, Beka posts their fiction works-in-progress online, and have had their work published by both The Hopper and the International Writers’ Collective. They’re a long-time student at The International Writers’ Collective in Amsterdam. They’re available for ghostwriting and story commissions, get in touch for more information if you have a story idea!
