BEEditing
I edit fiction and nonfiction and have experience with adult, children’s, young adult, and new adult literature; travel; memoir; self-help; and how-to books. I work with writers at all editorial stages: before submission, at the revision stage, and after acceptance for publication.
Recent editing projects include book proposals and queries; literary fiction; memoir; genre fiction including crime, fantasy, and women’s fiction; young adult literature; short stories; and nonfiction including self-help. I am especially appreciated for respecting a writer’s individual style, keeping voice and tone intact, and for providing what one of my clients called “the whole package–editing, content suggestions, formatting ideas, education on styles, and more.”
I am a graduate of NYU with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English. I continued my professional studies at the NYU Center for Publishing and Graphic Design and taught English literature and writing before becoming a full-time freelance editor. Please visit my website for a detailed description of my editing services, submission guidelines, and client testimonials.
