I love bringing indie authors’ book projects to life, from editing to book design to publication. I provide developmental editing, substantive editing, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading for fiction, nonfiction, and poetry books. I also create print book design and book layout in InDesign. My extensive experience working with writers and poets as editor in chief at Capsule Stories means I know how to work closely with writers to bring out their voice on the page while keeping their writing consistent and cohesive.
I completed the University of Chicago’s editing certificate program. I have a BA in English and am a member of ACES: The Society for Editing, EFA, and St. Louis Publishers Association. I am most familiar with Chicago Manual of Style and AP style. I am the publisher and editor in chief of Capsule Stories and a proofreader for Luna Station Quarterly.
