The Write Malloy LLC

Hi, I’m Caroline, a Book Coach and Historian who specializes in helping women write their Authority onto the page. I support womxn writers working in all forms of narrative nonfiction and creative nonfiction, both scholarly and trade, from planning to proposal. Together, we strategize the best outcomes for your book, take action to achieve your goals, and get you writing confidently to your finish line.

My goal is to have more great nonfiction written by great women on my shelf, and on everyone else’s!

Scholarly writers can trust I understand their needs as well as the ins and outs of the university press system. Trade writers and women leaders looking to lead by example on the page can trust me to help them find their voice and the best home for their stories.

I work with writers in 4 ways:

  1. You have an idea but don’t know where to begin. We spend 5 weeks setting up your structure, your vision, and your strengths. This work is modeled on the standard nonfiction book proposal, so everything we do has long-term benefit for during and after your write your book.
  2. You are looking for motivation, accountability and support on drafting (first or 50th, doesn’t matter). Together we work to keep your ideas their strongest and focused on the page.
  3. It’s time to write or revise your proposal. We can fine-tune it to your ideal publishing home.
  4. I also do the occasional developmental edit for nonfiction writers with a complete ms. or proposal who want a fresh, experienced set of eyes and quality, actionable feedback.
