Chelsea Jackson

Strengthen your writing. Take the stress out of editing. Reach your audience.

Looking for a writer, editor, or publishing consultant? You’ve come to the right place! My name is Chelsea, and I am passionate about supporting writers as they hone their craft and strive to get their work published and in the hands of their desired audience.

I have an MFA from Drew University, am the Managing Editor of The Maine Review , and love facilitating workshops and coaching writers. My experience ranges across-genre and includes poetry, nonfiction (e.g., community organizing/empowerment, biology, and food), and fiction work (children’s stories, novels, short stories). Additionally, I’ve worked with both small-presses and self-published authors, offering developmental, line, and copy edits, as well as consulting around publishing and marketing.

Along with my creative writing background, I have spent 10+ years in the nonprofit sector, where I gained vital skills in writing for all departments within an organization. This wide range of experience also allows me to open my copywriting services to providing website content, proposals, essays, speeches, and grants.

I’d love to work with you to ensure your writing is strong, your message is clear, and your audience is wowed!
