I have held staff and senior editorial roles at Scholastic, Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, and College Board. As a culture journalist, I have been published by The Paris Review, LA Review of Books, The Brooklyn Rail, Architectural Digest, Metropolis, Architectural Record, and Wired, among others. I also created and co-hosted the 10-episode podcast Cineopolis, focused on movies and the places that made them.
In 2024, I launched the newsletter Retronym, a celebration of editing in all its forms, an interrogation of what it means to be an editor in a culture that’s often antagonistic toward it, and a place for conversation about this crucial skill we all use — whether we’re professional editors or just people curating our lives.
