Eliz Tchakarian

Eliz Tchakarian has almost 20 years of freelance and formal publishing experience in a variety of different genres from short stories to screenplays, from academic literature essays to applied linguistics/Second Language Acquisition research papers. She has experience copy-editing and communicating with authors for the Modern Language Journal as well as Wayside Publishing, therefore maintaining editing skills in a wide variety of publications, print and online. Eliz has a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Languages and Literatures, and is thus closely acquainted with all genres of literature. She continued her education by obtaining an MA in Teaching Foreign Languages (with a focus on Spanish and English), which allowed her to become a highly proficient editor in the applied linguistics field – a rare skill. Eliz can also edit in Spanish, Bulgarian, as well as English. Eliz’s diverse background and ample foreign language and English teaching of writing experience, makes her the perfect editor for a wide array of texts and genres.
