Eric Myers

Warp Speed Editing

I began my professional writing career in 1993 in the ad department at the Washington Post.

Writing has led me to some wonderful opportunities- Public Relations at the US Embassy in Moscow, Managing Editor at a national magazine, Communications Director for a worldwide church movement and even landed me on the Best-Sellers list a few times.

In addition, I have a graduate-level certification in Editing and Publishing from Florida State University.

Since 2017, my writing focus has been exclusively on my company, Brigit Press.  Since its founding, I have edited over one hundred full manuscripts and helped over 95% of those writers get published, most of them through traditional publishing houses.  Several projects were developed well enough to secure a television or movie deal for the writer.

I am also developing a series of writer’s guidebooks to share my twenty-nine years of education and experience.  The first two of a seven-part series are out now.  The books cover a range of things all writers need to know… stuff that took me my entire adult career to learn.
