Gail Marsella (she/her) taught chemistry, writing seminars, and environmental chemistry to beginning learners at Muhlenberg College for over 20 years. She also worked in several capacities in the chemical industry for another 15 years, including IT, business analysis, competitive technology intelligence, environmental laboratory, and freelance technical writing. Constant threads through this varied experience are education, analysis, and the written word. Just in the past eight years, collaboration on grant proposal development with Fiorini & Associates resulted in eight of ten grants funded. She participates in volunteer STEM instruction work for both DaVinci Science Center and Casa Guadalupe Center in Allentown, PA. She recently completed a certificate in developmental editing at the University of Chicago, and is particularly interested in developmental/substantive/line editing of academic manuscripts (dissertations, papers, grant proposals, consumer science of various kinds, and supplemental education).
